Lenel OnGuard

Lenel’s Onguard 2008 system is a fully integrated Access Control and CCTV solution which is designed for use from small, single occupancy buildings to multi-tenanted blocks.

The OnGuard Total Security Knowledge Management Solution™ seamlessly integrates synergistic security and information technologies using open architecture design standards. OnGuard offers applications for digital video management, video content analytics, advanced access control, alarm monitoring, intrusion detection, asset management, identity management, visitor management, and integration with information security systems. Individual application modules can be deployed as stand-alone systems or in any combination to deliver a single, seamlessly integrated solution. OnGuard is an established security integration platform, with over 13,000 users worldwide.

Onguard is designed in such a way that the user is able to take full control of each and every floor located within their building(s) or segment the access system so that tenants can take control of their own floors without the need to install additional/individual access systems. This reduces the need for card holders to carry multiple cards to enter separate buildings - even if they are travelling abroad to other sites within their domain.

The Onguard package makes building security seamless for both the Installer and End User. Complete with alarm monitoring, map designer, and video management suite for the integration of CCTV systems, as well as a System Administrator programme for the configuring of the system allowing the system operator to add cardholders and access visitor management controls.

At HAEL we use Onguard because of its flexibility to install, add additional Access Doors and alarm points when required. Additionally, the fact that the system is built around Microsoft SQL Server improves security for the information stored within the Database giving peace of mind for our end users.

Fastlane Speedgates

The Fastlane Speedgates range is designed to provide a deterrent effect by combining state of the art optical technology with imposing glass barriers to restrict entry. Fastlane Speedgates come with state of the art anti-tailgating detection systems and are available with different height glass barriers to help balance the aesthetic and security requirements of most sites.

Fastlane Speedgates are designed to ensure only one person gains access for each authorised card presented. The system uses active infrared matrix of beams to create an invisible electronic field between two pedestals. These beams are controlled by a microprocessor utilising neural network technology designed to monitor the movement of people with pinpoint accuracy. These Fastlane systems can detect 2 people as close together as 5 mm whilst ignoring smaller inanimate objects like umbrellas.

Fastlane Speedgate barriers feature variable torque and speed settings to tailor the units to endusers' needs; additionally, Speedgates can integrate with a fire alarm system so that in an emergency the barriers automatically open in the exit direction to allow for free emergency egress.
